Team & Opportunity
The AU Derivative and Collateral Management team is responsible for the daily operational management of exchange traded and over the counter derivative products. This role is responsible for overseeing and supporting the daily operational tasks of the team, monitoring and ensuring adherence to established controls, policies and procedures and serving as an escalation point for internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues. This role serves as a technical subject matter expert for the team on strategic projects and initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
1. Daily oversight and management of key operational team tasks. Partners with key stakeholders, acts as subject matter and technical expert, identifies and resolves complex operational issues.
2. Leads internal control framework improvements and formulates strategic recommendations.
3. Supports portfolio management process to ensure operational objectives are met.
4. Serves as an escalation contact and creates, builds, and maintains relationships with key internal stakeholders and external counterparties
5. Partners globally to embed and sustain global operating model
6. Partners with global technology teams to coordinate system upgrades
7. Proactively anticipates portfolio events, researches and leads implementation of process enhancement initiatives
8. Oversees internal event tracking, performs incident analysis. Evaluates and enhances workflows.
9. Subject Matter Expert and represents team in projects, strategic initiatives and other special projects/duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Three to five years related operational work experience with exchange traded and over the counter derivative products
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
- CFA or other financial designation preferred.
