Responsibilities:
- Provides support to employees and management in dealing with general employment issues.
- Formulates and recommends program goals in all areas of employee relations to improve employee morale, motivation, and satisfaction.
- Maintains open communication between management and employees and serves as a mediator for problem resolution.
- Coaches managers and employees on policies, programs and procedures and ensures adherence with organizational policy and labor law legislation.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years related work experience. Employee relations or employment law experience preferred.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- HR professional certifications preferred. (SHRM CP)
- Requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills, leadership, customer service focus, self-motivation, and ability to perform multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
- Ability to build strong relationships and provide exceptional support to managers and employees.
- Demonstrates sound critical judgment and decision-making skills, especially in complex and high-stakes situations.
- Experience providing advice and recommendations on matters to key stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond to problems timely.
