FAS (Financial Advisor Services) Marketing is the marketing organization focused on Vanguard's intermediary business. With over $3 trillion in AUM, the FAS division has been the leanest and fastest-growing business over the last decade. Marketing has been on a significant and successful transformation journey over the last three years. We have matured from wholesaler-reactive to 'data- and client-insight driven'. We have made significant progress in our personalization and omni-channel journey capabilities. Our efforts have resulted in double digit growth in our 'through the funnel' OKRs (reach, engaged, and converted).
As a leader in Index products, we see a need for clients to re-evaluate their current portfolio allocation and product selection for the coming decade. We have launched a lot of exciting new products and have a deep pipeline of solutions to come. To lead this next phase of growth, we are looking for a Head of Product Marketing, FAS to lead all our intermediary offers which include 40 Act Products (mutual funds and ETFs), Technology Offers (e.g. Portfolio Analysis, Direct Indexing, etc) as well as our expert thought leadership (Financial Planning, Market Outlook, Portfolio Perspectives). This leader will combine a deep understanding of macroeconomic trends, FAS' business strategy, and modern marketing capabilities to create an integrated marketing strategy.

What you will do:
- Serve as Marketing's 'quarterback, managing a group of highly talented strategists to articulate the end to end go-to-market strategy for our investment products.
- Shift away from 'collateral production' to creating a model focusing on 'content experience & engagement' that can execute both campaigns as well as 'always on' client journeys. Join a team of highly motivated colleagues in Digital, Creative, and Channel Marketing on this transformation.
- Partner with divisional Sales, Strategy & Development as well as enterprise partners to define the divisional strategy aligned with OKRs.
- Serve as the bridge between the Sales and FAS Marketing by leading the development of marketing-level execution plans that map back to FAS divisional OKRs.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of the clients, competitors, and industry trends within the FAS market.
- Communicate and frame strategic messages in a clear and compelling manner.
What you will need:
- Strong experience in stakeholder engagement and superb commercial instincts.
- Expertise with the FAS space with a good understanding of investment products and trends.
- Strategic agility to solve problems and elevate others' thinking by exploring creative alternatives.
- Working, or the ability to quickly develop, knowledge of the FAS advice offers and the implications of broader industry events.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments; facilitate decision-making and drive results across cross-functional teams.
