Responsibilities:
- Oversees complex derivatives operations tasks and transactional processes. Owns the analysis and review of derivatives valuation models, position reconciliation, cash projection, collateral management, and margin settlement functions to support investment management decisions by fund advisors. Supports the implementation of new approaches and processes.
- Proactively identifies and mitigates external events and regulatory changes that impact team. Oversees various control standards to ensure compliance.
- Collaborates with internal and external partners to support global operations. Leverages strong industry knowledge to support relationship management and anticipate changes in the industry and clients' needs.
- Oversees the creation of complex quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports. Prepares deliverables for external auditors.
- Mentors and coaches other team members. Serves as a cross-trained resource to the department and shares expertise. Supports operational coverage and on-the-job training of complex processes. Serves as escalation point responding to operational issues.
- Develops and maintains a broad knowledge and awareness of investment industry forces, competition, and trends to assess viability of derivatives-related global operating models. Researches and evaluates derivatives regulation changes and market events that may impact operational processes. Understands and recommends solutions to mitigate business risks by implementing process improvements related to department and team workflows.
- Assists the global process owner in the creation of workflow procedures and maintains comprehensive documentation of current policies and procedures.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of four years related work experience. Industry experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
- Experience with Derivatives/Collateral management required.
