The Fraud Threat Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for research and analysis of emerging security and/or fraud threats which could impact employees, company assets or operations worldwide. Collects and analyzes data to identify, contain, mitigate, and recover from fraud and/or security threats or incidents. Conducts research and gathers information from global threat intelligence sources pertaining to emerging threats and threat attack methodologies
Fraud Threat Intelligence Analyst:
- Assists and responds independently to alerts, incidents, or related investigations. Identifies real-time threats and suggests mitigation strategies.
- Supports the processes, tools and measures to monitor and detect compromises, risks, vulnerabilities, threats, tools, and tactics used by modern and emerging threat actors.
- Develops, manages, maintains and enhances controls (alerts, rules, and policies).
- Monitors for new and evolving threats and provides preventive and remedial solutions.
- Performs analysis and provides written assessments focused on threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies relevant to Vanguard infrastructure.
- Collaborates with other teams across the enterprise, external partners, and local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to ensure prompt and effective distribution of findings to address incidents or potential threats in the most effective and efficient manner possible. Provides department support to the business on enterprise-wide initiatives and projects.
- .Develops and maintains strong working knowledge of the intelligence cycle. Effectively cultivates raw information into actionable intelligence for decision makers relating to the current threat landscape.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
What it takes:
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Minimum of three years related work experience, with two years experience in threat analysis preferred.
