Responsibilities
- Provides direction and guidance to a team of strategy analysts around key strategic topics and questions. Leverages and manages cross-functional teams as required.
- Provides thought-leadership by identifying strategic topics and presenting compelling ideas for research evaluation to Divisional Leadership.
- Participates in department-level strategic planning, contributing insights derived from analysis and synthesis of the team. Manages client relationships and anticipates needs.
- Develop and lead strategic, competitive, and product analyses. Consult independently with internal clients to define the business problem, issues, and planned approach for research and analyses. Lead work planning and business problem diagnosis, coaching less experienced strategy analysts in best practices and building business acumen.
- Synthesize analyses, key findings, and potential solutions into actionable recommendations. Work with senior managers to prepare and deliver materials, including client presentations, white papers, case studies, etc.
- Interpret and analyze highly complex data using business acumen to derive key insights. Verify the quality, accuracy, and reasonableness of the data. Display, organize, and craft data into a compelling storyline with actionable insight for the client.
- Develops and implements operational plans to achieve departmental objectives. Works with senior management in the planning, development and execution of short- and long-range goals.
- Stay abreast of industry, market, and competitive trends. Support efforts to keep the senior management team informed of key industry, competitive, and product trends. Recommend new and enhanced capabilities and services.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum eight years related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. MBA or graduate degree preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including strong facilitation and presentation skills to senior management.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to derive meaningful insights from analysis.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
- Excellent project management and prioritization skills.
