Vanguard has an exciting opportunity to strengthen the regulatory engagement practices and internal governance reporting on the Regulatory Response team. This role is an individual contributor that will be responsible for preparing materials related to a wide range of regulatory and compliance topics. The role requires thought leadership, strong diplomacy, and communication skills to lead colleagues across the firm in producing materials that are transparent, comprehensive, and clear. This position provides the ability for cross-departmental project participation, interaction with various teams, and build relationships with senior stakeholders.

- Coordinating and collaborating with business partners throughout across the enterprise to consolidate information from multiple sources into comprehensive, cohesive presentations, responses, reports or other materials for engagement with regulators
- Regularly interacting with peers within the firm and externally, including regulators and financial services industry organizations.
- Appropriately demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Vanguard and its clients, by applying sound judgment and business practices to mitigate and manage regulatory risk
- Monitor evolving regulatory landscapes and proactively inform stakeholders of relevant industry trends, emerging regulatory issues priorities and matters.
- Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies, ensuring a clear line of communication to drive process efficiency.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Minimum of five years related work experience, with a focus on regulatory interactions with a financial services firm.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to independently engage with regulators, senior management, and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and provide strategic solutions.
- Attention to detail, with the capability to manage complex regulatory reporting and documentation requirements.
