As the Director of Product Management, you will:
- Be in charge of leading the entire product team, and help define the product vision with the CEO
- Craft our product strategy, priorities, and roadmap, and communicate them effectively to the rest of the company
- Work cross functionally with engineering and design leaders, as well as other functions in the company like growth and operations
- Develop processes needed to run product development efficiently, prioritize product decisions, and launch products
- Generate buy-in for important strategic initiatives, and develop collaborative relationships and workflows with key stakeholders
- Drive product development for a full suite of products and features with engineers and developers, from ideation to design to implementation to iteration
- Scale the product team, manage team performance, mentor individual product managers, and serve as a key leader and decision maker in the entire company
Job requirements
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field required; MS or MBA highly desirable
- 8+ years of experience in product management or a field related to software product development
- 4+ years of experience in a product leadership role, including hiring, managing, and mentoring individual contributor PMs and more senior product managers
- Experience in a consumer focused technology company, preferably early to mid-stage
