As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our Agile team, collaborating with the Product Owner and delivery team to create cutting-edge digital solutions that set new standards in the industry. You'll be designing, developing, and delivering innovative digital solutions for our B2B and B2C market.
Researching and integrating third-party and cloud solutions to ensure seamless functionality. Working alongside other senior team members to establish future standards and guidelines. Mentoring Software Engineers and fostering a collaborative environment that nurtures future talent. Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Knowledge of Azure services such as Web App and App Service etc, .Net, C#, Unit Test, Software Development Best Practices such as SOLID and common Design Patterns, OWASP
- Knowledge of MongoDB, CA Gateway, ReactJS, Outsystems or Drools advantageous.
- Lead the conceptualisation, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing features for the existing portfolio of applications for a business area.
- Ensures application solution design conforms to agreed upon quality attributes such as performance, fault tolerance, etc.
- Design, code, test, maintain and document software deliverables using agreed upon standards and tools; adopt and drive our Engineering Excellence standards particularly around CI/CD.
- Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement.
- Responsible for communication and collaboration with key stakeholders in the delivery of features and driving standards.
- Strong experience in software development and delivery track record in a scrum environment.
- Bachelor of Computer Science is preferred, or relevant industry qualifications. Relevant business experience is advantageous.
