Senior Sales Consultant - Dental

Location - Home based, travel to client sites and Unum offices (Dorking & Basingstoke) expected

Unum UK is looking for a proactive and results-focused Senior Sales Consultant to join our Dental Distribution Team. This role is key to building strong relationships with key brokers, supporting growth opportunities and contributing to the long-term success of the company.

You will play a vital role in driving sales, managing accounts and working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives. Your efforts will help increase our market presence and enhance broker engagement.

What will you bring?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales by consulting, negotiating, and positioning Unum's offerings within established profit and product guidelines.
  • Manage key broker relationships, ensuring proactive business development and maximizing new business opportunities through quotes, fulfilment, and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce.com CRM, tracking pipeline, market feedback, trends, and central marketing campaigns.
  • Forge strong relationships with your designated brokers, conducting field visits, training staff, and engaging in local and national projects.
  • Create and implement new sales campaigns, working alongside the Marketing team to track and assess results.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and sales opportunities to maintain Unum's competitive edge.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in Dental Sales (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of Unum's dental products and the employee benefits landscape (Preferred)
  • Experience in intermediary sales (Essential)
  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills with brokers and clients
  • Ability to coach and mentor others to drive team success
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
