Customer Service Advisor
Location: Basingstoke (minimum 2 days a week in office)
Salary: £28,000

What will you bring?

We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to provide a quality call handling and written service to members, brokers and clients. You will assist with customer enquiries and the processing of claims and policy tasks.

  • Have excellent communication skills to effectively handle calls and written communications in a high customer focused manner, leading to first contact resolution.
  • Provide clear, accurate and concise information.
  • Have excellent soft skills and active listening abilities.
  • Be able to record clear and accurate notes that reflect conversations.
  • Challenge current processes and explore new ways of working for continuous improvement.
  • Be able to adapt and be flexible due to changing priorities.
  • Contribute to the achievement of individual, team and operational targets and objectives.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure service standards are met in accordance with SLA and FCA requirements.
  • Support with the onboarding and training requirements for new starters.
  • Have a willingness to maintain and develop own technical knowledge and expertise in all products, processes, and procedures.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a team, as well as on own initiative.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a customer focussed environment, preferably within financial services, insurance, or within a regulated environment.
