As the Sr. Sourcing and Procurement Analyst you will be challenged to oversee the strategic sourcing, procurement, and contracting efforts across OptumCare South Region (WellMed, USMD, HCAT, and Optum Florida) in support of all categories. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to identify risk and contract around it appropriately.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Support procurement process through contracting, deal analysis, and negotiations in accordance with local and enterprise strategies
- Gather business requirements and perform analysis when contract requests are submitted within outlined SLA's
- Assist in the development and implementation of bidding process, which will lead to competitive bidding for identified commodities
- Develop strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders to support business objectives, supplier innovation, and expense reductions
- Support procure-to-pay processes at local and enterprise level
- Review, develop, redline, and negotiate third-party vendor contracts, including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and amendments in cooperation with legal, compliance, internal stakeholders and external business partners
- Negotiate rates, service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs) and other legal and business terms
- Develop strong and collaborative working partnerships with key internal stakeholders including both business partners and support functions
- Manage contract version control and overall documents
- Develop supplier partnerships to minimize cost and maximize performance objectives

Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of Procurement experience including contract lifecycle management, bidding, drafting, development, redlining, and negotiation experience
- Experience working in an environment with minimal supervision
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive data with discretion
- Solid negotiating/influencing skills
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple timelines and projects/priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or healthcare related field, or equivalent experience
- Prior contract development or paralegal work experience
- Experience with MS Office
- Experience communicating with peers internal and external to the organization
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry
- Demonstrated keen judgment and collaborative problem-solving skills
Physical & Mental Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
- Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing
- Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving
