Primary Responsibilities:
- You will be working as an automation test engineer for Pega Center of Excellence team and own the quality of Pega applications
- Execute functional, Automation, Data base and API testing as per Project needs
- Develop Automation test scripts using different type of frameworks
- Enhance Automation Frameworks as per the design needs
- Independently troubleshoot coding issues and solve technical problems from the roots
- Setup continuous integration and continuous testing system like Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, and Docker
- Deliver software within an Agile (scrum) environment
- Collaborate with stakeholders to plan test schedules, strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
- Create, maintain and execute test plans and test cases against our software platforms, estimating test efforts, analyzing and communicating test results, defect tracking and participating in day-to-day QA activities
- Document processes and procedures in managing the product and making sure best practices are always followed

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in developing automation test scripts using Selenium
- Experience with updating or enhancing automation framework as per the design
- Good knowledge about testing concepts and understanding of database concepts, OOPs concepts and solid in core Java skills.
- Good understanding on Cucumber, Gherkin
- Working knowledge in Database and API testing
- Understanding of DevOps tools like GitHub and Jenkins
- Understanding of container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Demonstrated ability to take a hands-on approach to implementing QA processes right from requirements analysis, test design, automation and analysis
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other teams across the portfolio to assure the success of the overall program
Preferred Qualification:
- Understanding of Pega healthcare or related frameworks
