Primary Responsibilities:
- Work in accordance with the IAC - Intersocietal Accreditation Commission and State of Nevada Radiation Control Program
- Acquire images and process patient data on multiple pieces of equipment
- Perform all mandatory quality control measures on all equipment
- Maintain records of all quality measures performed
- Start IVs
- Follow existing SOPs
- Work cooperatively with cardiovascular technologists, nurses and physicians
- Assist the radiation safety officer with monitoring and posting of monthly staff radiation badge readings
- Educate all staff within cardiology on the As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) principles
- Coordinate daily patient flow and scheduling through the nuclear lab
- Order radiopharmaceuticals
- Support the overall vision of the Positive Patent Experience by achieving a positive balance of healthcare, cost outcomes and patient satisfaction. Ensures standards of care are implemented and in compliance with all state and federal regulations, standards of practice, and Southwest Medical and UHG policies and procedures
- Other responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- Associates Degree
- BLS Certified
- 5+ years of experience in the field of nuclear medicine
- ARRT and/or NMNTCB registered technologist
Preferred Qualification:
- 2+ years of experience in cardiology
Nevada Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $28.03 to $54.95 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
