Primary Responsibilities:
- The Mammography Technologist will utilize equipment which produces ionizing radiation to obtain radiographs for diagnostic purposes according to policies, procedures, and protocols of the KSC Radiology Department and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. Imaging services vary by site, therefore, rotation through general diagnostic radiography using fluoroscopic and/or digital radiography systems and/or conventional radiography units utilizing CR technology as well as DEXA bone density studies and performance of stereotactic guided biopsies may be required depending on location. The Mammography Technologist will utilize the designated Radiology Information System (RIS) to complete clerical processes and designated PACS system for stereo tactic and DEXA studies.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
- ARRT (R)
- MRT-General Certificate
- BCLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology
- ARRT (R)(M)
- Experience as a mammography technologist
- Experience performing stereotactic guided breast biopsies
- RIS experience
- Bilingual
