Positions in this function drive and lead the transformation program across provider - transactions and contact center including managing projects portfolio with dedicated team of black belts/project managers, people management, governance with Stakeholders, collaboration with technology and analytics teams on a solutioning, architecture and implementation. This role will be accountable to drive all projects to completion as per defined timelines and roadmap.

The role will also entail deploying latest technologies across capabilities - including Gen AI/ML program management - and will require working with tech teams across enterprise on identifying key problems which can be solved using latest technologies

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Overall program management of portfolio
  • People management - Lead and oversees work performed by a team of Six Sigma practitioners & project managers in aligned span
  • Tracks and ensures that process improvement goals in aligned span are met and relevant initiatives are launched to support attainment of critical business objectives
  • Leads functional or segment teams or projects
  • Frontlines and collaborates well with leaders and with Stateside business partners
  • Drives execution in partnership with Automation, technology and analytics teams across enterprise
  • Additionally drives 1-2 additional Transformation Programs at Enterprise level
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
  • Extensive work experience in working in a collaborative environment
  • Extensive work experience in Six Sigma and automation projects
  • Experience in projects involving emerging technologies (automation, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Artificial Intellgience, etc)
  • Experience solving major project or customer issues
  • Extensive experience in working with stakeholders across leadership levels
  • Demonstrated experience in change management
  • Program management - Experience in managing transformation roadmaps - AI/ML/ Gen Ai program management experience / Exposure to deploying latest tech / automations to solve business problems
  • Understanding of Payer clinical business and processes (Provider, claims, contact center, Clinical, RCM etc)
  • Proven excellent communication & presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management certification / Master's of Business Administration
  • Prior experience in a Payer organization
  • Training in the following:
    • Lean Six Sigma
    • Project & program Management
    • Design Thinking
    • Exposure to a US Healthcare account in previous role or organization
  • Proven ability to clearly describe the way they approach aligning their team including shared goals, team building and more
  • Proven ability to network within their team, department, organization, industry and community
  • Proven ability to advocate with senior leaders for change or for a new idea
  • Proven ability to highlight the possibilities that exist, while acknowleding difficulties will exist when deciding
  • Proven ability to seek to understand the 'why' behind decisions, provides examples of when they have done so and how they translated this to the team
  • Proven ability to help the team learn from mistakes and errors, rarely repeating any
  • Proven active coach to their teams and routinely provides performance and development feedback
  • Proven ability to support the team to come up with new and better ways to do work, solve problems or meet stakeholders and customers needs
  • Proven ability to provide the team with guidance about what is expected, as well as a common starting point for shared work
  • Proven ability to make decisions that yield productive or positive outcomes most of the time
