Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and implement ETL data pipelines using Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Scala, Python, and SQL
- Expedite cloud adoption and recommend tech stacks for specific data platform use cases
- Architect data solutions for new projects and assist team members in adopting new technologies, such as cloud-native technologies, to save costs and speed to delivery
- Conduct impact analysis for source system changes and provide detailed data profiling reports
- Create visual representations of data pipelines and system architecture for stakeholder review and buy-in
- Define and document the future state of data architecture for design approval and buy-in
- Collaborate with Tech Lead, Data Engineers, and Product Management team to ensure alignment with project goals
- Stay updated through self-learning with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering and solution architecture
- Increase ETL capability by identifying key metrics to aid decision-making
- Propose enhancements to the ETL pipeline with new capabilities leveraging industry best practices for solution architecting
- Manage and mentor teams, working closely with various business stakeholders

Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of overall experience
- 2+ years of experience in solution architecting data solutions
- Solid experience in solutioning data solutions in data warehouses
- Experience with the database Snowflake
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline design
- Proficiency in Spark, Scala, Python, SQL, and Databricks
- Proven Unix scripting and SQL skills
- Proven ability to perform with minimal supervision
- Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proven solid work prioritization, planning, and organizational skills
- Proven leadership qualities including being proactive, thoughtful, thorough, decisive, and flexible
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in cost-benefit analysis for cloud adoption
- Experience in the healthcare domain
