JOB PURPOSE:

We're looking for a highly motivated Tax Risk and Reporting Manager to lead our global tax reporting and risk management efforts.

Why This Role Matters: Accurate tax reporting and effective risk management are crucial as we navigate our new path. Your role will ensure we meet our financial goals and comply with regulations, while also driving process improvements and leveraging technology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Tax Reporting:
  • Manage the quarterly Effective Tax Rate (ETR) reporting process.
  • Forecast the group's tax charge and cash tax payments.
  • Review tax figures and disclosures in group accounts.
  • Work with our global compliance outsource provider to prepare the group Total Tax Contribution (TTC), Country by Country (CbC) and Pillar 2 reports.
  • Model the impact of future tax requirements.
Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and other risk management responsibilities.
  • Assess current and future risks, and implement appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Controller's departments to maintain accurate tax charge controls.
Process Improvement:
  • Review and improve existing tax reporting processes through the tax outsource provider.
  • Leverage tools like Power BI for process automation and data analysis.
  • Provide training and support to country tax teams on tax reporting and controls.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Experiences & Qualifications
  • Qualified accountant with 8-10 years of tax reporting experience (IFRS).
  • Experience with process automation and tools like Power BI.
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with tax reporting technology.
  • Strong risk management mindset and experience with SOX controls.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
