Background & Purpose of the Job
The purpose of this job is to manage the maintenance area in the factory, providing an optimal infrastructure and improving production facilities in terms of flexibility, capital input, operating costs and performance. The job includes the end-to-end delivery of the site maintenance plans in a safe and effective way, managing the maintenance teams and day-to-day maintenance systems, KPIs and programs, leading a team of electrical, mechanical, controls and cybersecurity business leaders/ technicians, maintenance planners and additional technical operators in the safe and efficient repair and maintenance of the facility, utilities and production equipment for the entire factory for all shifts. Leads/ co-lead the PM Pillars with full integration with the UMS plans on site. The position reports to the Site Director.

Who You Are & What You'll Do
You're a born leader: You provide maintenance leadership to technical teams drawing resources from the local, regional and global organization as well as the global, category, peers and/ or 3PM teams. You serve as the Professional Maintenance pillars leader/ co-leader for the site. You lead the maintenance systems and maintenance program at the site to drive performance improvement, improvement of assets lifetime, asset utilization and reliability. You have strong passion for Technical Excellence and people development to drive team's performance. You strategically influence peers and stakeholders to drive the business agenda through technical solutions.
You're a dot connector: You work closely with the site team to build a robust infrastructure and utilities master plan (non-product core) to drive change, sustain and improve performance and customer service at manufacturing. You put together a team of technical members in different disciplines (mechanical, electrical, controls and automation, planners etc.) to drive the site performance by the delivery of improvements projects based on the site masterplan.
You're a change maker: You drive efficiency by constantly looking at ways to improve all maintenance deliverables and metrics. You drive the maintenance costs down by improving the condition and care of the assets and by finding alternative solutions for the maintenance program at the site.
You're a culture and change champion: You provide and stimulate creative solutions to technical problems, rapid transfer of best practices, and you drive efficiency embracing outside-in mentality and willingness to experiment and collaborate. You help unlock value and execution with the team by bringing new ways of working and developing technical capabilities at the site.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Essential
- B.S. or B.E. degree in Engineering or equivalent education with demonstrated working experience
- 5 - 10+ years of professional experience in technical and organizational management areas in FMCG/ related industry (amount of experience needed depends on site size/ complexity)
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a people and maintenance management role
- Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience.
- Project Management Leadership
- Maintenance Systems and Maintenance Management expertise
- Budget management skills
- Understands and implements continuous improvement to drive performance for loss management.
