We are hiring a HSE/HR Specialist for our factory in Odense, where we produce detergents under our strong Home Care brands such as Neutral, Biotex, and OMO. Our goal is to offer the best products in detergents to our consumers and be the best supplier to our customers. Our strong brands stand for quality, service, and innovation.

In this position you will be responsible for HSE agenda, leading key activities for maintaining the standards required by the different stakeholders involved.

Unilever prioritizes employee safety above all else, therefore you will guarantee the compliance in all HSE requirements and lead the activities that can arise from audits as gap closure actions plans.

The role is dual, encompassing HR responsibilities as well. You will be directly supporting the HR Manager in reading the Business needs and translating into your HR agenda.

Your daily support with focus on strategic improvement will be based both on hard and soft HR topics.

Hard topics will be Post-Payroll Processing, Employee Data Management and Time&Attendance. Soft topics will include Training Management, Employee Satisfaction Survey and Engagement Activities Organization.

To complete the profile will actively support on Temporary Staff Management.

Along all abovementioned activities both HSE and HR, you will have to ensure that standards required by Danish Law and Unilever Policies are valued.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
  • Leading Health, Safety and Environment agenda and activities in the site according to Local Legislation and Unilever Standards
  • First point of contact for HSE network and Local authorities, together with responsible person for monthly reporting on HSE performances
  • Competent person for process safety - with the responsibility of ensuring systems and equipment regarding combustible dust, flammable liquids and other chemicals are under control and in safe condition (ATEX + HAZOP).
  • Ensuring effective and efficient operations, responsible for risk assessments of Factory
  • First point of contact for HR topics in the factory
  • Ensuring that all Business requirement on Temporary Workforce is respected on time in full
  • Leading the Post-Payroll Processing with ambition to zero issues
  • Working in direct contact with HR Unilever International network, deploying key initiatives at site
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications
  • Law Master Degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge on Health, Safety and Environment and requirements by Danish Law
  • Knowledge and basic experience on HR Management in a manufacturing environment
