About the Role:
We are seeking someone who is passionate about Manufacturing and the workforce which builds the amazing products that enable us all to survive and thrive. The Industry Principal - Manufacturing role is located in the GoTo Market team which supports the customer lifecycle from demand generation through post-sale value realization. This person will be responsible for tailoring the overall UKG strategy to the Manufacturing vertical. This role requires a deep understanding of both manufacturing and HCM software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the multiple functions that impact the value customers realize.
Responsibilities:
• Strategy Development: Take UKG's overall strategy and solution set and tailor it to support the unique needs of diverse manufacturers.
• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify the macroeconomic trends impacting manufacturers and map them to the challenges UKG solves and the value it delivers
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment and successful execution of the industry strategy.
• Influence & Thought Leadership: Serve as a thought leader and industry expert, representing the company through written and spoken communication during sales cycles, at industry events, supporting demand creation, participating in industry associations, and representing UKG in media engagements.
• Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and UKG stakeholders in the manufacturing sector to understand customer needs and outcomes. This would be activated by your ability to recruit customers to develop success stories and develop a customer advisory board
• Innovation: Through your expertise and knowledge of the market increase the value of the UKG offering by tailoring our messaging to ensure it resonates with manufacturing customers' unique needs and take back insights gained from your interactions with the market to influence the product road map and ecosystem strategy.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Human Resources, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry either working directly in the manufacturing industry or as a software provider to the industry.
• Preferred: Understanding of Human Capital Management software and its applications in the manufacturing sector.
• Strong critical thinking skills and demonstrated creativity.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that can create and nurture relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.

The pay range for this position is $159,900 to $229,800 yearly however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
