About the Team
The Value Acceleration Services (VAS) team, part of the Engineering, Product, Innovation and Cloud (EPIC) organization, is responsible for serving a portfolio of value streams that feed into enterprise SaaS product. The goal of VAS is accelerating the delivery of value to customers while reducing the delivery effort.
The team is composed of highly skilled practitioners who have expertise in their respective areas and work collaboratively to ensure that value streams are delivering maximum value. The team is committed to driving innovation, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction, and is focused on accelerating better outcomes for our people and our customers.
The successful candidate will also be an integral part of the UKG India Country leadership team, and will be instrumental in leading the VAS team to deliver outcomes in India, and across the global footprint. Working closely in the unified team environment we are operating in.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and accomplished leader to join our team.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering complex programs that drive strategic outcomes for our organization. In addition to leading and elevating practices of our group of VAS practitioners in Noida, the successful candidate will lead our global Lean Portfolio Management efforts. Most likely they would actively participate in the delivery of shaping initiatives in the portfolio to accelerate adoption and mastery across the portfolio.
Leveraging your exceptional communication skills, technical expertise, and leadership abilities, you will lead cross-functional teams in executing large-scale projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives and priorities. Setting the example for the practitioners, and elevating the practices across our ways of working in our unified teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish portfolio discipline and a culture of continuous improvement in the global portfolio of suite initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams to align on objectives and deliver complex programs.
• Provide strategic guidance to increase initiative outcomes using data analysis and industry knowledge.
• Promote program management excellence by managing timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Balance multiple projects effectively while managing resources efficiently.
• Solve critical issues innovatively with strong technical expertise.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years as delivering transformations and customer value in SaaS environments.
• Proficient in Agile/Lean practices with experience improving business outcomes across a complex portfolio of initiatives.
• Strong leadership skills with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Proven life-long learning and curiosity.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with large-scale system architecture.
• Experience with UKG products or related services.
• Customer-centric approach.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, PowerBI.
• Preferred certifications: PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, LPM
