Sr Director Sales Strategy & Planning

Who You'll Work With
This critical role will report to the VP of Global Sales Strategy, Data & Analytics and lead a team of 15 global business analysts and their leaders to create, implement, and help drive our GTM programs forward. You will work cross-functionally with direct and extended teams across the business, including Sales leaders & their sellers, Operations, Products, Marketing, Services, Finance, HR, and other key functions to shape, drive and execute our growth priorities.
What You'll Do
This role will be leading a team of dedicated Business Analysts to execute GTM sales strategy, planning, reporting, and analysis within each global selling team. They will also be a critical senior leader and growth enabler for our overall GTM team, including working with our Renewals and Customer Relationship teams. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving simplification and operational excellence across the GTM sales organization. You will set and execute run the business priorities and objectives to drive organizational consistency and efficiencies across the business. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Work with our global Business Analysts and their leadership team to develop and manage relationships with Sales Group Vice Presidents and their quota carrying sales teams.
• Work closely with other members of the Senior Leadership team to make data driven decisions (reporting on pipeline, attainment, deal management) while acting as a key strategic advisor to sales leadership.
• Own and manage Sales Planning strategy, priorities, and execution, for day to day run the business activities
• Provides data-driven analysis and insights to help support business strategies by evaluating ongoing analytical needs, collaborating with internal and external business partners to build a consistent and accurate strategy for using data-driven insights.
• Act as a change agent to transform GTM Sales Strategy and Planning with a focus on best practices/learnings and continual improvement.
• Create and deliver executive-level PowerPoint slides, summary decks and/or training as appropriate to ensure key stakeholder understanding and adherence to operational processes and strategy (Sr. leadership, leadership, field etc.)
• Act as the primary interface for Sales & Renewals New Year Planning & Readiness and drive team execution
• Support territory carving and GTM resource planning to optimize our coverage model across top markets and our incentive comp strategy across all GTM roles
• Work cross functionally with Sales Leadership, Finance, and our Marketing teams to help identify areas of concern (e.g. lack of pipeline to support growth) and both short-term and long-term initiatives to address areas of concern
• Create and foster strong strategic partnerships with sales leaders, Business Unit leaders and senior leaders. Proactively challenge current thinking and make recommendations based on insights from data.
• Provides strategic and tactical support to sales management and the senior leadership team on sales execution
• Provide quarterly business review data analysis and process support as required
• Build strong relationships with supporting functions, e.g. Finance, Legal, Customer Success, Channels.
• Provide leadership and direction of account strategy, coaching and mentoring at account, and vertical levels.
• Recruit, hire and develop exceptional people to achieve objectives. Cultivate professional growth through performance reviews, development plans, and coaching.
Who You Are:
• A Bachelor's Degree is required with a minimum of 10+ years related experience in sales strategy, operations and planning
• Deep experience with domestic and international sales processes including new year planning and readiness
• Experience & success in a prior like role.
• Player/Coach with capability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with high degree of autonomy, while leading a team
• You are a process and strategy guru who loves to solve complex problems with an eye toward continual improvement
• Strong financial, analytical, and business acumen skills
• Organized and structured with a proven track record in delivering business results
• Strong executive presence and excellent presentation skills
• Flexible, inventive, and resilient; thrives on ambiguity and change
• Strong teamwork, communication and influencing skills - flourishes with driving to success in a highly interdependent, collaborative, complex environment

The pay range for this position is $179,800 to $258,500 , however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
