About the Role:
In this role, you will utilize your strategic, technical, and operational experience to drive Cloud Strategy, Governance and Architecture. You will take an active role in the evaluation, operations, development, automation, and release of new and existing Cloud-related products.

Job Requirements:
• Actively develop, evolve, and curate cloud principles, patterns, and offerings
• Act as a focal point to coordinate and collaborate on cloud technical decisions in together with all Cloud teams
• Perform Cloud Technology road-mapping & alignments with all Cloud teams and stakeholders
• Serve as a mentor and help in the development of domain level architects in the cloud organization
• Perform architectural and design reviews of cloud systems as well as software systems use of cloud
• Partner with architects in Software Engineering to ensure our software and delivery systems are following the right cloud principles and patterns
• Help coordinate multi-disciplinary architecture initiatives and participate in cross-organizational architecture leadership forums
• Work in an advisory capacity to facilitate key decisions

Qualifications

About You:

Basic Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in traffic engineering, load balancing, and network optimization at scale.
• 5+ years designing cloud native services in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including core services, infrastructure, and application development.
• 5+ years of experience with designing and implementing scalable and reliable cloud architectures for SaaS applications.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, such as virtualization, containers, and microservices.
• Proven track record of designing networking for large-scale cloud platforms based on Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable and reliable cloud architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• GCP Certified Professional Cloud Architect

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and certifications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor cloud engineering teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analysis, task management and time management skills
• Proficiency in cloud architecture frameworks and design patterns.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional).
