Description
• Design and test software products using modeling techniques, software design patterns, test-driven approach and automation
• Develop cloud native SaaS products/applications
• Participate in design, coding, testing and automation of the application software
• Use and contribute to the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery process (CI/CD)
• Participate in code, design and test case reviews to ensure quality and conformance to product standards
Qualifications
• 3-5 years of IT experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and J2EE technologies
• Experience using one or more ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA
• Experience using one or more application frameworks such as Spring
• Experience in in Javascript, AJAX and other Java presentation technologies
• Good experience with Unit Testing processes and tools (JUnit, Mockito)
• Knowledge of Docker, Jenkins, GitHub
• Core product development experience on SaaS/Cloud/Multitenant based projects is good to have
• Exposure to database techniques/tools such as Oracle, SQL, etc.
• Experience using one or more application containers such as Tomcat
• Conversant with platforms, tools and frameworks used in application development
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology and use of Scrum Tools (e.g. Jira)
• Understanding of Quality Engineering concepts and usage of tools to document, monitor and track TestPlans and execution reports
• Excellent debugging/troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills
