Job Summary: In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, test, and implement business process automation and platform engineering and integrations. Your contributions will directly enhance our employees' work lives and establish and maintain critical DevOps practices and standards. You will also be responsible for the employee desktop experience, which entails designing, developing, and maintaining the client operating systems, system configuration, virtualization desktops, OS images, 3rd software client installations, security patches, and updates.

Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Automate processes, build system integrations, and manage the DevOps toolchain using scripting languages (Shell/Python/JavaScript), REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and no-code technologies. Develop and maintain software platforms to streamline IT processes like deployment, testing, and monitoring.
Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain resilient and fault-tolerant application deployments into production.
Lead strategy and technical discussions and identify opportunities for process automation, platform enhancements and enterprise endpoint management solutions.
Provide technical leadership in planning, developing, and supporting various automation technologies, software platforms, and endpoint management to operational teams. Additionally, lead strategic technology initiatives, including upgrading, patching, security, and consolidation.
Design and execute QA tests using scripts that automatically test functionality across multiple platforms and systems.
Define best practices and standards around DevOps with security and compliance in mind.
Gather requirements from stakeholders to develop the best automation solutions.
Mentor and educate team members on enhancing their DevOps literacy and skills.
Design, develop, and test corporate laptop and desktop images, Group Policy Objects and/or other policies for automated deployment or manual execution, application packaging for automated deployment, self-service, or manual installation.
Maintain corporate laptop, desktop and VDI endpoints with encryption, security patches, system configuration, and updates.
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in managing the full stack of device management systems such as Intune, Jamf Pro, Horizon (VDI), and Tanium and cloud infrastructures (Azure, Google Cloud).
Writes scripts and programs to automate and refine processes used to support the device management systems, packaging, and deployments.
Understand and remain current on industry systems, technologies, and trends including DevOps, software platforms, and endpoint management solutions and trends.
Monitor incident management system for production issues and enter all relevant data as incidents are completed.
Lead, develop and regularly review team strategy and documentation of client systems, policies, and supported applications.
Maintain the inventory data and reporting of our managed systems and assets for compliance and business needs.
Manage project and tasks for self, provide transparency on activities conducted and have a bigger picture focus on the entire team's mission.
Manage vendor relationships and software licenses for managed systems.
Manage the department's software licensing and lifecycles.
Work closely with various operations and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain deadlines on projects and initiatives.
Builds and maintains strong peer relationships within the team and across the organization.
Ability to create technical documentation for a wide range of audiences.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
5 - 8 years' experience supporting various technology stacks (cloud and on-premises) and are comfortable with learning new technologies
5 - 8 years' experience with Endpoint Management solutions such as Intune, Jamf Pro, Horizon (VDI), and Tanium and cloud infrastructures (Azure, Google Cloud).
5 - 8 years' experience with building full-stack software solutions, architected using DevOps best practices and technologies
5 - 8 years' experience working with various DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Selenium, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Azure DevOps, Terraform, etc)
5+ years' experience with most of the following: Python, Java, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, shell scripting, Powershell
5+ years' experience with various database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data interchange formats (XML, JSON).
5+ years' experience working with cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud) having implemented Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Energetic team player who can adapt to change, is willing to work in multiple contexts and enjoys rapid development
Determined and willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid understanding of security best practices and standards around cloud computing and access management.
Senior-level experience supporting multiple enterprise production environment solutions.
Ability to understand system functionality, process, and architecture at a technical and business level.
A bachelor's degree in information systems or a related discipline is preferred.
Certification in related discipline preferred
