Your key responsibilities:
Process Optimization:
• Evaluate existing payroll processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline and optimize payroll operations.
• Stay current with industry best practices and technology to enhance efficiency.
Quality Assurance:
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processes.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Technology Integration:
• Collaborate with Product and Transformation teams to leverage technology solutions for payroll process automation.
• Identify and implement tools to enhance data accuracy, reduce errors, and improve overall efficiency.
Compliance and Risk Management:
• Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations.
• Ensure that payroll processes comply with local, state, and federal laws.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies related to payroll operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with HR, Finance, and IT departments to align payroll processes with overall business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address payroll-related issues and concerns.
Training and Development:
• Provide training to payroll staff on new processes, tools, and compliance requirements.
• Develop training materials and documentation for payroll procedures.
Continuous Improvement Culture:
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the payroll function.
• Encourage feedback from team members and implement changes based on insights and suggestions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Project Management or related field.
• Several years of experience in payroll management, process improvement, or related roles.
• Experience in leading process improvement initiatives. 2 - 5 years
• Project management certificate or process improvement such as CAPM, SIX Sigma Yellow, Green Belt, Prince etc. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
• Experience with payroll software and technology solutions.
• Project management skills.
• Familiarity with BI or Project Management tools
