Principal Strategic Alliance Partnership & Partner Sales Executive

Location:
Remote within EMEA or South Africa; quarterly travel required

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Lead Channel Sales & Strategic Alliance Manager who will be responsible for developing relationships with reseller partners in South Africa as well as managing prominent EMEA technology partners in the HCM/WFM space. You will oversee partner enablement from start-to-finish including integration design & go-to-market strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Partner Enablement: Collaborate with cross-functional enablement teams as appropriate to ensure partners have the necessary training, tools, and resources to effectively sell, deliver, integrate with, or support our solutions.
• Competitive Intelligence: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
• Event Participation: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and partner conferences to build brand awareness, network with potential partners, and generate leads.
• Partnership Management: Maintain direct and engaging relationships with existing partners, including proactively resolving business, technical, and sales channel issues and serving as an internal advocate.

Channel Sales Manager Responsibilities:
• Regional Channel Strategy: Identify and maintain relationships with key reseller partners within your region and segment to maximize market penetration and achieve ambitious sales targets, while aligning closely with the company's overall business objectives.
• Support Sales Execution: Actively engage with partners to ensure they drive sales, identify and close opportunities, and exceed sales quotas.
• Marketing and Demand Generation: Work with the marketing team to develop and execute joint marketing campaigns and programs to generate leads and drive demand for our solutions through the channel.
• Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Accurately forecast sales, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports on channel performance.

Strategic Alliance Manager Responsibilities:
• Local Product & Go-to-Market Strategy: Help support the local product and go-to-market strategy for UKG through technology partners.
• Strategic Opportunities: Define partnership requirements, produce qualitative and quantitative evaluation of program performance, aggregate feedback, and explore new strategic opportunities.
• Joint Sales Activities: Coordinate joint sales activities and drive new business opportunities with key technology partners.

Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in channel sales or business development roles in the HR/HCM/Payroll software industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets & building strong relationships with partners.
• Strong understanding of the reseller channel sales model & ability to identify & capitalize on sales opportunities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, & negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM & sales enablement tools.
• Must be able to manage multiple concurrent deadlines while prioritizing the critical path for each partner.
• Excellent spoken & written communication skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical & non-technical audiences.
• Ability to remain impartial & identify options to thought-provoking scenarios.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Unwavering dedication to making choices that benefit UKG & our customers.
• Ability to adapt, to be flexible, & to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to establish credibility & rapport with senior executives.
• A strategic thinker, a self-starter, someone who can act fearlessly & operate tactically in a potentially high-stress environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Management Consulting, Channel Sales, or Alliances experience.
• Integration experience.
• Strong Human Capital Management and/or Workforce Management industry knowledge.
• Professional working proficiency in French and German a plus.
• Payroll experience a plus but not required.
