Responsible for managing complex programs toward the achievement of overarching and ongoing strategic objectives. Create and manage long-term cross functional / enterprise level program goals and monitor performance. Organize projects and activities in accordance with the strategy and goals and contribute toward UKG's growth. Define and oversee program governance (controls) effectively utilizing cross-functional resources across projects. Drive and manage executive and stakeholder communication. Manage risks and issues, ensuring corrective measurements take place. Develop and manage a budget and operating plan for the program.
To ensure success as a Principal Business Program Manager, you should exhibit strong leadership skills and extensive experience in program management in a related industry.
Principal Business Program Manager Responsibilities:
• Develops strategic objectives with senior leader level thought leadership
• Drive programs toward the achievement of overarching and ongoing strategic objectives
• Define and oversee program governance, scope, expected outcomes, and success criteria with stakeholders
• Lead large, cross functional / enterprise level initiatives with substantial risk, visibility, and complexity; including developing the strategy for project execution
• Develop new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization. Impacts the direction of a function or business unit through innovative solutions
• Drive collaboration with internal teams, including change management, enablement, and business stakeholders
• Report progress to senior executives and influence strategic direction
• Anticipate problems; formulate solutions so as not to impede the progress of the program
• Ensure program delivery on time, on budget, and with quality
• Oversee program deployment and adoption and diagnose and resolve issues
• Keep up with advancements and trends in Human Capital management delivery
• Mentor leaders and other project and program managers
• Acts as a trusted advisor and influencer to senior leaders. Builds relationships in other departments to drive collaboration to meet enterprise objectives
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
• Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal guidance
• Critical thinking, creativity, and independent judgment skills
• Recognized as a program management expert with the ability to work on and track multiple programs simultaneously
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to effectively lead with and without authority
• Ability to communicate complex concepts; anticipate objections and influence others to adopt a point of view
• Proven ability to think and plan strategically and drive results
• Agile mindset and ability to develop and facilitate creative solutions to complex problems
• Ability to evaluate performance metrics, as well as diagnose and resolve issues
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, relationship, and stakeholder management skills and ability to build solid long-term relationships across the organization
• Practical experience in change management and change management methodologies
• Knowledge of scrum and agile methodologies
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business management or similar
• 12+ years of experience in program management, preferably in a related industry
Preferred Qualifications:
• Established record of consistently meeting or exceeding performance standards
• Experience applying continuous process improvement concepts, theory, and tools, preferred
• Project Management and/or Program Management certification preferred
• Human Capital Management (HCM) experience preferred

The pay range for this position is $112,300 to $161,400, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
