The Manager, Data Platform Engineering, will be responsible for driving engineering that enables our enterprise-wide Data, AI, and Generative AI platform to drive business value and customer success. This individual will be the technical leader of a team of developers, participating in the design and development of features, including AI and Gen AI capabilities, and resolving defects. Additionally, they will ensure the delivery of quality releases and features, making critical decisions about feature readiness, identifying areas for quality improvements, and integrating AI and Gen AI technologies where applicable. The individual will manage a team of development engineers in an agile environment, ensuring that AI-driven solutions are aligned with business goals.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering a high-scale, high-reliability data platform and supporting tools, utilities, and AI-enhanced features.
Improving product quality through best-in-market engineering practices, including the integration of AI and Generative AI tools.
Partnering closely with leadership to optimize the delivery of data insights, leveraging AI technologies to enhance business value.
Empowering other product and business teams to grow their analytics and AI capabilities, supported by a centralized and flexible data platform.
Delivering SaaS platforms and managed services that align with business needs and drive customer success.
Keeping pace with the evolving business environment, technology advancements, and data innovation, including AI, to optimize data value and mitigate risks.

7+ years of experience with increasing responsibility leading a data-related team within a complex global business environment, with exposure to AI and Generative AI technologies.
Proven experience in delivering SaaS platforms and managed services.
Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent, with a focus on AI and machine learning.
Experience designing and implementing data-centric solutions, including AI-driven approaches.
Strong customer focus (internal and external), with an understanding of customer centricity, AI-enhanced personalization, and design thinking to drive solutions.
Extensive experience building and managing a diverse and inclusive team environment, with a strong commitment to respect, equality, collaboration, and teamwork.
Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, lead, motivate, performance manage, and coach a cross-section of data, AI, and technology professionals and managers.
Highly technical, confident at the operational management level, and comfortable in an AI-integrated engineering organization.
Experience with highly sensitive data, maintaining security as a top priority, and understanding big data, AI, and technology at scale.

The pay range for this position is $122,600 to $176,250, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
