We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Total Rewards Consultant to join our Global Total Rewards team. The Total Rewards Consultant will oversee and manage total rewards initiatives across the ANZ (Australia and New Zealand) and SEA (Southeast Asia) regions while supporting overall APAC team including India.
This role involves ensuring compliance with local regulations, conducting comprehensive benefits and salary structure reviews, and driving key compensation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Total Rewards, a deep understanding of the market in the ANZ and SEA regions, and a commitment to aligning business objectives with reward strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• TR Consulting (ANZ SEA): Responsible for advising a range of stakeholders, (including the people managers and HR business partners), on compensation & benefits initiatives that will help the company to achieve its growth targets, primarily through the attraction, engagement and retention of talent.
• Governance and Operations (ANZ SEA): Ensure the delivery of all Total Rewards administrative and operational processes are in-line with policy and governance frameworks.
• WGEA Compliance (Australia): Ensure compliance with Workplace Gender Equality Act (WGEA) reporting requirements in Australia, ensuring transparency and equity in compensation practices.
• Minimum Wage Reviews (Australia): Conduct regular reviews of minimum wage legislation to ensure organizational compliance with statutory wage adjustments in Australia.
• Benefits Renewals (ANZ & SEA): Lead the annual benefits renewal process for the ANZ and SEA regions, ensuring that benefit offerings are competitive and aligned with market standards.
• Salary Range and Structure Reviews (ANZ & SEA): Conduct salary structure and range reviews across the ANZ and SEA regions, ensuring alignment with market trends and business objectives.
• Annual Review Cycle (ANZ & SEA): Manage and coordinate the annual compensation review process, including performance-based salary increases, bonuses, and incentives for the ANZ and SEA regions.
• Global Audit & Incentive Audits (ANZ & SEA): Support and lead internal and external audits related to global compensation and incentive plans, ensuring adherence to policies and accuracy in reporting.
• May lead or participate in other APAC or Global Total Rewards Project
Qualifications:
• 8-12 years of experience in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, preferably in the ANZ and SEA regions with an overall understanding of APAC specially India.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related field. MBA and CCP/CBP designation preferred
• Strong understanding of Australian Labor laws, including WGEA compliance and minimum wage regulations.
• Expertise in conducting benefits and salary structure reviews across multiple regions.
• Ability to manage large-scale audits and annual review cycles.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Project Management Experience.
• A collaborative and customer focus mindset.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with HR systems and compensation tools.
• Strong proficiency in Excel is essential, including advanced use of formulas, pivot tables, and dashboard creation.
• Skilled in creating PPTs, with a focus on data visualization, storytelling, and clear communication of complex information.
• Strategic thinking and Business Acumen
• Familiarity with global audit processes in compensation and incentives.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, international environment.
