About the Team:

The Renewals Business Analyst role will support our Renewals team. The person in this role plays a crucial role in supporting the renewal process of subscription-based services, products, and contracts. The responsibilities will revolve around analyzing data across our over 20,000 contracts and over $3.5B in recurring revenue per year, identifying trends, optimizing processes, and collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and our UKG operations teams to maximize retention and revenue. The role will perform moderately complex analyses of business goals, financial data, objectives, and needs of the general business environment. They will analyze key metrics, identify risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate renewals.

About the Role:

  • Work directly with a Group Vice President (managing Renewals), VP of Renewals, and Finance to analyze renewal trends and customer data to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Prepare and deliver reports on renewal performance, customer retention, and revenue forecasts with deep collaboration across the Revenue Operations team in Finance.
  • Track and report on key metrics such as renewal rates, churn rates, and upsell opportunities for sales to engage
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline and enhance the current renewals process
  • Work with the GTM Advanced Analytics team and Finance to develop tools, dashboards, and workflows to improve efficiency and visibility
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to increase renewal success rates
  • Analyze customer feedback and data from Salesforce, Gainsight, and Finance to predict churn risks and recommend proactive solutions
  • Create strategies for improving customer satisfactions and loyalty
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance teams to ensure smooth renewal operations
  • Communicate renewal insights and findings to key stakeholders and leadership
  • Contribute to revenue forecasting by analyzing renewal pipelines and historical data
  • Partnering on budgeting and resource planning based on renewal trends and projections
  • Manage weekly Forecasts in Revenue Platform with renewals reps and leaders
  • Align and help manage territories for the Renewal team - GTM Account Governance Team would support the data efforts needed for Territory Management in Salesforce
  • Serve as the trusted advisor and go-to-resource for the Relationship Management team for any questions relating to Salesforce, sales tools, and/or general ad-hoc requests
  • Responsible for ensuring that Account data is accurate in Salesforce and other systems
  • Direct liaison between Renewals and Salesforce Enablement team
  • Create custom reports, dashboards, and fields to support renewals
  • Implement/document new enhancements in Salesforce that are renewal driven
  • Audit all renewals to ensure data accuracy & systems alignment (alignment of all key operational data across renewals, retention, credits, uplifts, etc.)

About You:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting a Sales team with business analysis, renewals, or similar role with subscription-based business
  • Strong desire for business partnership and pursuing a goal of being a trusted business advisor to field leadership.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, and Salesforce.com is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with the sales cycle and forecasting process of a large Enterprise company.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Experience in SaaS or technology industries
  • Knowledge of subscription management software (e.g., Gainsight)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with active listening and summarization skills
  • Ability to proactively influence, advise, and collaborate with teams
  • Excellent judgment, interpersonal, communication skills and follow-through
  • Ability to work in a team environment and cross-functionally
  • Highly self-motivated, analytical with demonstrated problem solving and have sound business decision making skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build credibility, trust, and rapport with stakeholders at all levels

  • Less than 25% Travel

The pay range for this position is $99800 to $120000, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
