Role Profile
As Lead Presales Solution Consultant, you will be responsible for:
• Reports to the Director, Presales Solution Strategy (One View).
• Ambassador for UKG.
• Provide key solution and service support to the UKG sales function by elegantly solving complex business problems; taking the lead role in defining solutions for new business.
• Defining Project and Program delivery: customer base.
o Champions SaaS delivery principles and deployment methods within UKG and our
o Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget and collaborating with multiple customer contacts and locations to establish agreed deployment approaches.
o Determines operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formats.
o Ability to craft implementation service solutions and costings.
o Establish and build out the service delivery model within an outsourced payroll environment across multiple countries
o Establish and execute concise and consistent Sales-to-Delivery handover processes to promote cohesive 'one-team' approach to program and project delivery post sale
• Product knowledge (functional):
o Learns and understands and is expert in all aspects of the UKG application suite and its business deployment.
o Champions cross-functional integration and lean system & business process optimization.
o Improves systems design by studying current best practices, industry trends & evolution, and defines solution and service enhancements based on these (close working with Technology team).
o Feed into Technology roadmap by providing insights into key market trends with key quantitative customer and industry analysis and metrics.
o Holistic end-to-end business process engineering (not just by software function).
• Sectoral, industry and jurisdictional expertise:
o Champions developing requirements by sector, jurisdiction, legislation and business function.
o Strategic business acumen and understanding of UKG strategy and ability to design UKG solutions to deliver that strategy.
o Designs industry specific (vertical) solution and service design and setup (configurations). Develop and maintain models of industry specific vertical solution architectures.
o Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of- the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
o Maintains an awareness of HCM software solutions and Outsourced Payroll models/services that may support UKG mission.
Technical knowledge (non-functional):
o Gathers requirements and drives integration with third party partner applications and business systems.
o Good technical knowledge with regards to deployment of Outsourced Payroll solutions in a customer's operating environment, particularly with regards to the integration of UKG with third parties (internal and external to the customer).
o Technical knowledge in the definition of integration architecture from flat-file transfer to web services.
o Solid understanding of service delivery and service design within an outsourced payroll offering, coupled with a strong knowledge of SLA and KPI metrics, service credits and support models within an outsourced payroll model.
o Comprehensive understanding of documentation such as Statement of Work, Service Delivery Terms of Reference and Professional Service Order Forms/Work Orders.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Actively participate in the preparation and execution of sales plans, events and campaigns
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
• A minimum of 2 years in the Global HCM and/or Outsourced Global Payroll sector.
• A minimum of 5 years in a professional pre-sales and/or technical role such as technical architect, solution architect or BPO Pre-Sales Consultant
• Relational software design, software documentation, software requirements, service delivery, service design, SLA and KPI formulation and measurement, analyzing information, teamwork, written communication and promoting process improvement.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills with ability to explain technical concepts to lay audiences with the ability to also communicate recommendations effectively to business leaders and board level stakeholders an advantage.
• Highly professional presentation skills are required coupled with the ability to listen and negotiate
• Self-starter and an ability to appropriately prioritize and plan complex work in rapidly changing environments.
• Results oriented with ability to produce solutions that deliver organizational benefit.
• Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude.
• Team player with experience leading and collaborating cross-team to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
• Ability to travel as required in a customer facing role.

The base salary for this position is $120,000.00 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for commissions and restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
