UKG's Foundation Network team is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer with private and public cloud experience to join our Foundation Network team, supporting our private and public cloud solutions. As our products grow, we are continually enhancing our cloud-based infrastructure to scale and improve our services' performance, scalability and reliability.

• Experience routing and other networking fundamentals (BGP, OSPF, TCP, UDP, DNS, Load Balancing etc.) along with extensive knowledge and experience in the deployment of Juniper, Cisco, F5 and Palo Alto systems for large-scale cloud and enterprise environments.

• Experience of Public Cloud environments (GCP, AWS, AZURE) and cloud networking technologies (VPCs, Shared VPC, Load Balancing, etc.).

• Experience working on projects with a cross-functional remote team of experts to create best-practice private and public-cloud networking environments at scale.

• Experience in the design, deployment and Continuous Improvement of scalable and highly available public and private cloud network designs.

• Analyze data to diagnose and identify root causes to network-related events.

• Participate in on-call rotation and handle escalations in a fast-paced environment.

• Work on assigned projects with minimal supervision.

• Work in a ticket-based queue with minimal supervision.

• Proven ability with automation, orchestration and Infrastructure As Code technologies.

About You:

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of proven and real-world experience in the design and implementation of complex networking concepts in private and public clouds.

• 5+ years of proven experience with Firewall implementations and support on CISCO, Juniper, Palo Alto or Fortinet.

• 5+ years of experience in load balancing strategies/ techniques, expertise in application switching/traffic management, and management of SSL certificates.

• 2+ years of experience working with orchestration/configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Salt, Puppet or Chef.

• 2+ years of experience using programming languages such as Python, Go, for automation of network tasks.

• 2+ years of direct experience in CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins, GitHub actions.

• Experience and in-depth knowledge of routing and other networking fundamentals (BGP, OSPF, TCP, UDP, DNS, Load Balancing, Storage networks, Virtual networks, L2 switching, overlay networks).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.

• Full understanding of working with tunneling technologies including IPSEC and SSL VPN, GRE tunneling.

• 2+ years of proven experience with software development lifecycle in AGILE with tools like Git and BitBucket.

• 2+ years working with REST APIs to develop solutions.

• Google Cloud Certified

• Background in DevOps, Software Development, Site Reliability, and Systems Engineering/Design.

• Knowledge of IP Storage protocols and best practices for storage networking.

• 2+ years of proven experience on supporting Virtual Firewalling solutions.

• 1+ year(s) of experience on CISCO ACI implementation or support.
