UKG is seeking a strategic, results-driven Director - FP&A to lead our financial planning and analysis function with a specialized focus on sales performance. In this high-impact role, you will partner with cross-functional leaders and the executive team to drive long-term financial planning, provide actionable insights, and support key strategic decisions that fuel our growth. You will oversee the development of comprehensive financial models, manage company-wide budgeting and forecasting-including the annual ARR budgeting process for Sales-and mentor a high-performing team to ensure our financial strategy aligns with both broad business objectives and targeted sales initiatives. Job Responsibilities
• Provide strategic leadership to the FP&A function by guiding financial planning, forecasting, and modeling activities that align with the company's long-term objectives and sales growth strategies.
• Collaborate with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to deliver actionable, data-driven insights that underpin strategic decision-making and drive overall business performance.
• Oversee the development and execution of company-wide financial plans, managing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial models that support both enterprise-wide initiatives and targeted sales objectives.
• Act as a trusted business partner by working closely with senior Sales executives to leverage deep subject matter expertise, drive sales performance, and shape strategic initiatives.
• Conduct comprehensive variance analyses to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Develop and refine key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and dashboards-including Power BI solutions-to enhance business intelligence and guide executive decisions.
• Build sophisticated financial models to evaluate the impact of new initiatives, operational improvements, and strategic opportunities such as mergers and acquisitions.
• Prepare and deliver clear, impactful reports and presentations for the CFO, executive team, and Board of Directors, effectively communicating the financial narrative and strategic insights.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of financial professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and professional growth.
Skills / Qualifications
• Exceptional business judgment, attention to detail and analytical/decision making skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
• Self- starter with the ability to work independently while keeping manager informed
• Flexibility and openness to change; comfort making decisions amidst ambiguity
• Advanced excel skills including strong data manipulation skills and experience in power BI reporting
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills and interest in continuous process improvement
Education/Certification/License
• Business Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field (Masters preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in FP&A; Managerial Experience is Required

The pay range for this position is $142,100 to $204,200, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
