Description:
This role will primarily focus on the review, research and counseling of a wide variety of regulatory requirements in the U.S and other jurisdictions applicable to UKG and various aspects of its business. In this role, you will provide vital legal and operational support within the Legal Department on a wide range of legal matters affecting the SaaS and managed services verticals around the globe. You will work closely with various internal teams to operationalize the guidance that you provide.
Responsibilities:
- Research applicable law and regulations impacting UKG;
- Draft policies, procedures, and techniques to support international business operations;
- Provide practical guidance to internal teams and other business stakeholders concerning product compliance related matters;
- Support ad hoc projects as required in a variety of legal practice areas to support global business
Basic Qualifications:
- 3-7+ years of legal experience analyzing complex laws and corporate compliance requirements to provide guidance to internal teams, ideally at a Tech/SaaS company
- Skilled in drafting and implementing corporate policies and procedures in accordance with applicable law and regulations
- Experienced providing practical product compliance guidance to internal product teams and other business stakeholders in a complex, global business environment considered a plus;
- Exceptional research, writing skills, and the ability to communicate legal concepts to non-legal audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experienced providing practical product compliance guidance to internal product teams and other business stakeholders in a complex, global business environment considered a plus
- Self-starter able to work in a very fast paced, changing environment with ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with a variety of levels and audiences
- Collaborative and team-oriented, with ability and confidence necessary to work both independently and as part of a group, as well as across multiple functions in a highly matrixed environment
- Comfortable supervising and coordinating with outside counsel and consultants in a variety of subject areas
- General working knowledge of evolving Artificial Intelligence regulatory landscape considered a plus
- General working knowledge of wage and hour laws considered a plus
- General working knowledge of FedRAMP and StateRAMP requirements and experience counseling Risk and Security Teams regarding such public-contracting and third-party vendor management requirements considered a plus
- Prior experience at a reputable law firm

The pay range for this position is $126,300 to $181,550 however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
