Your role
Do you have a working knowledge of AML/KYC requirements for all stages of the client lifecycle? Do you have previous experience in performing transaction reviews or supervisory management? We're looking for someone like you to:
• perform live monitoring of transactional activities and alerts and serve as first point of contact for ongoing disposition of counterparty screening
• pre-vet incoming and outgoing transactions tied to commercial activity and apply account-level restrictions as needed
• obtain and review documents related to client's transactions which verify the nature and purpose of commercial payments including invoices, shipping documents, custom declaration, bill of lading, etc.
• perform regular sample-based tolerance review of clients' activity

• support the creation and maintenance of procedure documentation to provide adequate governance and ensure Central Desk knowledge retention
• manage and execute required controls, ensure nature and purpose of accounts are adequate and consistent with expectations

Your team
You'll be working as part of Wealth Management US. You will work in collaboration with key functional areas and WM field leadership to help our Financial Advisors serve their clients in accordance with regulatory requirements, and support UBS in the fight against money-laundering, fraud, corruption, and terrorist financing.
Your expertise
• ideally, 2+ years of experience in Client Service and / or wealth management within financial services (banking) preferred
• prior experience in a related job that would provide a comprehensive understanding of activities, policies & procedures
• knowledge of trade finance a plus
• experience interacting with the middle and front offices to minimize and resolve risks
• FINRA Series 7 and certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS) preferred
• meticulous and strong analytical skills
• Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills are a plus
