About the Role
Within the Marketing Data Science Organization, we are looking for an experienced product data scientist to help drive product strategy, run experimentation, and conduct product deep dives.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with the web product team to design and analyze experiments
- Monitor and understand business trends, proactively flag them and work with stakeholders to strategize on solutioning
- Conduct deep dives to develop / help answer abstract questions about product usage
- Develop dashboards that provide reliable insights and visualization into all lines of businesses (LOBs) that touch our web platforms

- Ph.D., M.S., or Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Machine Learning, Operations Research, or other quantitative fields. (If Ph.D, or M.S. degree, a minimum of 1+ years of industry experience required and if Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 3+ years of industry experience as a Data Scientist or equivalent).
- Expertise in Tableau and/or similar B.I platforms
- Expertise in languages and tools like SQL, R, and/or Python.
- Knowledge of underlying mathematical foundations of statistics, optimization, economics, and analytics.
- Knowledge of experimental design and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in all or some of: Product, Web, SEO, Experimentation, Attribution
- Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate complex business activities, technical requirements, and recommendations.
- Work experience in applying advanced analytics, applied science, or causal inference to marketing problems.
- Self motivated with task organizational skills. Ability to achieve consensus amongst technical and business teams
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$140,000 per year - USD$156,000 per year.
