Strategy & Planning Manager, Uber for Business - EMEA

About the Role

We are looking for a Strategy & Planning Manager to partner with our Regional General Manager for Uber for Business in EMEA on some of our most critical business problems. You will be responsible for supporting driving sustained growth across the region, including driving expansion, GTM strategy & Strategic Initiatives across the region.

In addition to partnering with our internal U4B team (Sales, Finance, Operations), you will also be responsible for driving cross-functional initiatives with the broader Uber organization, including regional and local Mobility and Delivery Ops.

The ideal candidate is self-driven and able to operate with a high degree of independence. You are a competent presenter, ideally with significant prior experience of business presentations to senior business leaders. Analytics is integral to the Strategy & Planning work and there is a strong preference for advanced level SQL capabilities and experience working with Google Sheets as well as other dashboarding tools (Tableau, Looker)

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Planning & Investments
  • Driving Annual Financial planning w/ Strategic Finance
  • Formulating GTM Strategy / Execution plan to meet financial plan
  • Long range planning
  • Investments: Sizing impacts of and driving investment asks
  • Strategic Programs
  • Driving Business Expansion across the region
  • Working with Operations on unlocking new use-cases and business opportunities
  • Business Reviews
  • Supporting regularly cadenced and ad-hoc business reviews (Monthly Business Reviews, Market Deep dives ...)
  • Business Analytics
  • Acting as a thought partner to the Regional General Manager of EMEA

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant work experience from (Tech Strategy or Operations role, Consulting, Investment Banking)
  • Strong Problem Solving & Data skills
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Self-starter with can-do attitude able to see projects through from inception to conclusion with a high degree of independence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience from working effectively cross-functionally in a matrix organization
  • Prior experience presenting to VP+ level
  • Prior experience managing high performing teams
  • Advanced level knowledge of SQL, GoogleSheets and dashboarding tools (Tableau, Looker) and running automations
