About the Role
As a Strategy & Planning Associate, you will support the ongoing business governance and planning processes, as well delivering on the key Strategic Initiatives that will transform the ANZ business
The Strategy & Planning Associate plays an integral role in driving business performance, strategic direction and insights and intelligence.
Your impact in role:
- Support the evolution of the ANZ strategy, monitoring performance and progress against current approach, and provide insight and intelligence to inform changes and developments through planning processes
- Build, manage and operate business dashboards to track KPIs and ensure we have full visibility and context of performance
- Support key governance cadences (OKR performance and calibration, MBR and other periodic review sessions etc) with insight and analysis
- Serve as a strategic consultant to the business through trusted partner relationships with the leadership team, and as a thought partner on key strategic initiatives with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Actively support business intelligence, strategic planning and analytical activity for senior management of the country
The experience you'll bring:
- Analytical Expertise: Skilled in analysing complex data to drive insights; SQL proficiency is highly beneficial.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in consulting, investment banking, strategy & planning, operations, or other specialist fields, with a strong foundation in quantitative analysis.
- Commercial Acumen: Adept at assessing business performance, identifying trends, and uncovering opportunities and risks. You'll offer valuable insights and strategic thought partnership to the ANZ Leadership team.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Able to apply sound business judgement and analytical thinking to tackle ambiguous challenges, leveraging data to develop actionable insights and practical solutions.
