About the Role
We are looking for a Supply Manager to lead freelancer supply & product rollout (US & Canada) to help expand the network and footprint on ground. This role will need designing and executing processes, projects, communications, and experiments driven by a deep and analytical understanding of our business.
This role will work closely with both local and regional teams across regions and support the strategy and execution of how Uber Scaled Solutions attracts, acquires and develops skilled gig workers at scale through technology, automation and process optimization
What You'll Do:
- Adopting innovative strategies for quality sourcing at scale, across US&C and expand to other regions
- Utilize various sourcing tools and platforms to attract and monitor qualified candidate pools
- Shape and manage the programs: track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks and communicate status to management and project partners
- Work with cross functional teams to ensure project needs are met and resolve issues
- Improve process operational efficiencies, and identify automation opportunities
- Create and own incentive strategy to drive new freelancer acquisition on the platform
- Prepare and maintain dashboards to measure sourcing penetration and efficiency
- Prepare and give business reviews to Uber senior management regarding progress against defined KPIs
- Build resource feedback mechanisms and ensure NPS targets are met for the program

Basic Qualifications
- 3 + years experience in Operations with a focus in Product, Freelance Supply (or similar field)
- Proven ability to lead and execute product rollouts or initiatives across multiple regions, with experience in coordinating cross-functional teams, setting timelines, and ensuring smooth implementations in dynamic environments
- Experience in Leading Projects end to end
- Bachelors Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in sourcing, onboarding, and managing large-scale freelance or independent contractor networks, particularly across US&X regions, to ensure a steady supply of talent for business operations
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work efficiently and influence others without exerting direct authority
- Ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment
- Exceptional written, verbal communication, and organizational skills
- Previous startup experience is good to have
- Strong skills in analyzing market trends, freelancer performance, and supply chain metrics to optimize supply operations, using tools like Excel, SQL, or similar for data-driven insights
- In-depth knowledge of US&C labor markets, regulations, and cultural nuances, with the ability to adapt strategies to regional differences while working effectively with diverse teams
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$101,000 per year - USD$112,500 per year.
