About the Role
Uber is seeking a Strategic Operations Manager to drive growth and innovation across our platform. This role will focus on developing and scaling new products, with a particular emphasis on electrification initiatives and key venues like airports. As the Operations Manager, you'll work cross-functionally to optimize operational efficiency, create scalable processes, and implement innovative initiatives.

- Identify, launch, and scale high-impact products aligned with growth targets.
- Support and operationalize business development partnerships
- Manage operations and partnerships at key locations to enhance the Uber experience
- Drive initiatives to expand EV adoption and Uber's sustainability goals.

What You'll Need
- 3+ years of experience in technology/consulting/or other fast-paced operational environments.
- Project management skills: You have a proven understanding of the project management fundamentals, and can implement cross-functional projects. You are process driven & can convert ambiguous business requirements into structured business processes with standard operating procedures.
- Strong analytics skills: you are able to analyze the performance of your initiatives and derive data-based recommendations for improvement
- Good communication and collaboration skills: You are good at working with diverse teams, understanding different perspectives and building solutions together.
- Strategic Approach: You are comfortable in the detail, but are also able to see the bigger picture and pivot strategically as the environment around you changes
- See the forest & trees: Ability to think strategically and operationally, delivering the day to day while defining and leading the future direction. Ability to translate strategies into detailed execution plans and to take them to its desired outcomes.
Bonus Points If
- SQL knowledge preferred (and if not, must possess an aptitude to learn quickly as it will quickly form part of your day-to-day activity)
