Courier is a fast growing business at Uber. We have around 3.5 million monthly active users who use the product for a variety of use cases regularly. Peer to peer package delivery has a hundreds of billion dollars TAM ( total addressable market ) and we are just getting started. There is a tremendous opportunity in this problem space to expand the product globally by increasing awareness while solving some of the most challenging consumer pain points in last mile delivery.

- 8+ years engineering experience
- Strong problem-solving skills, with expertise in algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis
- Experience with distributed systems
- Resilience, determination, ownership mindset, and a keen appetite for collaborative efforts

- Track record of reliable and predictable execution
- Have led multiple large scale cross-functional projects
- Strong IC and leadership skills. Has the ability to dive deep or act as a multiplier depending on the situation
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$223,000 per year - USD$248,000 per year.
For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$223,000 per year - USD$248,000 per year.
