About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Delivery Center Operations Team (DC), with a primary focus on the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes for the Americas Region. In this role, the candidate manages daily Buyer Operations, oversees Invoice Processing, and ensures the successful delivery of various P2P activities handled by Uber's extended team.
The ideal candidate should excel in influencing both internal partners and external suppliers and driving sustainable operations that align with Uber's core values. Close collaboration with the Delivery Center teams dedicated to Continuous Improvement and Service Delivery will be essential for achieving streamlined and effective operations.

What the Candidate Will Do
- Oversee Buyer Operations throughout the Americas region.
- Manage Invoice Processing operations within the Americas region.
- Guide and influence the Global Business Services extended team's operations based in Brazil and India.
- Ensure Productivity and SLA metrics are consistently met, while also identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement.
- Support in project deliveries in the region, along with other members of the Global Process Team (GPO) and the DC leadership for the Americas.
- Collaborate with other cross-functional teams (i.e., GPO, Cash Management, Accounting, FinTech, Treasury, and the Business Stakeholders) to proactively manage and resolve innovative, collaborative, and practical business and operational issues.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Operations.
- A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable and/or Buyer Operations, preferably in a global/international environment is expected.
- Fluent Spanish and advanced proficiency in English.
- Thorough understanding of the end to end Procure-to-Pay process.
- Experience in a fast-growing company with a focus on execution.
- Excellent verbal, and written skills with a high attention to detail
- Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and completeness.
- Hands-on, strong work ethic, and can-do attitude.
- Strong technical and systems knowledge, including ERP (Oracle) and procurement tools (Coupa)- familiarity with Tableau and Celonis is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills to enhance data visualization, insight generation, process mining, and optimization, informed decision-making, predictive and proactive management, alignment, and accountability.
- Experience in process innovation and improvement, familiarity with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to align a diverse set of stakeholders and vendors with varying priorities
