About the Role
We are looking for a talented iOS Engineer to join our Developer Platform Team. You will play a key role in the ongoing development and enhancement of the Developer Platform, which provides developers across the organization with tools, frameworks, and environments to build reliable and scalable applications efficiently. Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and deliver top-tier software solutions.
This position is in the Mobile Frameworks team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining libraries and frameworks that are used by all parts of Uber.

---- What the Candidate Will Do ----
- Design, develop, and maintain the existing mobile frameworks
- Implement new features & components
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
---- Basic Qualifications ----
- 5+ years of experience in iOS development
- Solid understanding of Swift (protocols, generics, error handling, etc.).
- Experience with XCTest, mocking frameworks, and UI testing strategies
- Passionate about building for developers
---- Preferred Qualifications ----
- Experience with embedding web content in mobile apps using embedded Webview or embedded browsers
- Debugging & Profiling - Experience using Instruments, LLDB, and debugging memory/performance issues.
