About the Role
The Global Community Operations organization provides support to Uber Customers and various partners. As autonomous vehicles (AVs) become an increasingly important part of our offering, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Autonomous Vehicle Strategy & Special Projects Leader to help define the future of AV Support and the roadmap to get there. This role will balance building high-level support strategies alongside driving detail-based business decisions on critical investments, needs and timelines.
You will do a combination of strategy, planning, and detailed evaluation of key AV Support capabilities and requirements.

- Develop AV Support strategies, roadmaps, and requirements
- Facilitate Support integrated planning, including headcount plans, support product / tech roadmaps, and critical decision / enablement timelines
- Build Support decision making and tracking mechanisms that enable the business
- Dive deep into Remote Assistance / Remote Operations and Central Operations to evaluate industry best practices and build a strategy of record
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in strategy, planning, operations, program management, or consulting with excellent strategy, and business evaluation skills
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in support operations
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep experience and expertise in developing strategies and roadmaps for scaling technical support operations
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-pace environment brining structure to new problems and concepts
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent presentation and ability to facilitate difficult business decision skills
- Ability to drive data based decisions
- Knowledge of Uber customer support operations
- Experience working with large and distributed global teams
- Experience in the AV industry
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$180,000 per year - USD$200,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$180,000 per year - USD$200,000 per year.
For Washington, DC-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$180,000 per year - USD$200,000 per year.
