We have seen incredible customer love and acceptance over the past seven years of Uber Eats in Japan. We started in Tokyo and now our service is nationwide in all 47 prefectures. 2024 brings a new chapter of the Delivery story, our vision is to 'deliver anything, to anyone, at anytime' and our goal is to make Uber a daily essential in people's life.

About the Role

Uber Eats is seeking a business leader and a partner success manager to drive business growth and innovation by acting as a trusted advisor for our key restaurant customers in Japan. You will closely working with C-levels and POC of our restaurant partners and design a winning strategy and define the go-to-market plan while actively maximizing the growth of our restaurant clients' online food business with Uber Eats.

A successful candidate should understand the needs of our restaurants and be able to build strong relationships with key decision makers. Finally, this individual should have the capability to identify and exploit new market opportunities and push our business forward.

This role calls for a well-rounded combination of critical thinking, strategy building, sales and commercial skills, operational excellence and leadership. We operate in a fast-paced environment, so we want a highly adaptable candidate who is able to adjust between long-term strategic initiatives one moment and rapid, tactical actions the next.

Your Impact in Role:
  1. Opportunity to work with business leaders from the top multinational restaurant enterprises in the world.
  2. Go-to-market Strategy - Identify, size and define what our growth strategy should look like over the short and longer term.
  3. Sales/Account Management - Building the best partnerships with the right merchants, while driving growth and financial sustainability with our merchant partners, with a commercial team.
  4. Operations Management - Identify process inefficiencies, build solutions, and drive operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for resource allocations and launch readiness.

The Experience You'll Bring:
  1. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  2. 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or customer success
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  4. Knowledge of the partner ecosystem and how to build and maintain relationships

  2. Direct engagement to partner's C-suites and successful track record of relationship
  3. Understandings for platform business and ecosystem
