About the Role
As a Claims Advocate II - Learning & Development, you will design and deliver training content to be deployed to claims employees and external business partners. You will drive educational initiatives to ensure the team is well positioned for the dynamic work that underpins our complex insurance program.

What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive learning strategy that addresses the evolving needs of Uber's US&C Claims organization
- Oversee the design, development and delivery of learning programs, ensuring they are innovative, engaging, and meet the diverse needs of in-person and virtual audiences
- Identify critical skill gaps and create targeted training roadmaps that align with organizational objectives and performance metrics
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep learning programs fresh, relevant, and impactful
- Partner with Claims Operations, partner insurance carriers, Safety, Legal, and other stakeholders to gather insights on training needs and ensure alignment with larger business goals
- Act as the primary L&D representative in cross-functional planning and strategy sessions, advocating for learning solutions that drive performance.
- Conduct regular evaluations of L&D programs to measure effectiveness and leverage findings to iterate and enhance solutions.
- Develop a training toolkit of varied instructional methods (e.g., classroom training, virtual learning, on-the-job coaching, blended learning) to optimize learner engagement and retention
- Create resources and documentation for Claims staff to reference for on-demand education
- Deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders ranging from entry level Claims staff to senior leadership
- Partner with Claims Quality Assurance and other Learning & Development teams to obtain feedback on curriculum and learner outcomes

Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience
- Prior experience in a claims department at a P&C insurer or rideshare claims team experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Prior Claims L&D experience
- Proficiency in training content design and delivery
- 5+ years in auto insurance claims adjusting
- 1+years of specialized expertise in bodily injury claims within the auto insurance sector
- Prior claims leadership experience
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to analyze metrics and learning evaluations to identify trends and training needs
- Excellent cross-functional partnership skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Extraordinary attention to detail

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year - USD$145,500 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$146,000 per year - USD$162,000 per year.
For Phoenix, AZ-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$117,000 per year - USD$129,500 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$146,000 per year - USD$162,000 per year.
