This is a hybrid position in San Francisco (50% in office), and you must be located in or willing to relocate to San Francisco for the position.
In Finance, we work hand-in-hand with leaders across the company to ensure smooth, disciplined execution of strategic business objectives. Our Strategic Finance team provides comprehensive financial insight into the business through regional and functional business partnering, forecasting and budgets, and pricing and incentives.
About the Role
As part of the Strategic Finance team, you will help scale the financial reporting, analytics, and planning capabilities to empower decision makers across our Community Operations function. Your work will provide insights into financial performance, support key initiatives, and enable operational excellence in customer support. By driving data-driven strategies, you'll help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations while supporting the financial health of the organization.

What You'll Do
- Financial & Operational Planning: Partner with Community Operations leaders to develop financial forecasts, budget planning, and operational goals aligned with company objectives
- Partner with the business: Use financial and operational insights to guide decision-making on projects and initiatives, including customer experience improvements and cost management.
- Sophisticated financial modeling: Build and enhance financial models to evaluate performance, forecast expenses, and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Strategic Thinking & Execution Excellence: Work with cross-functional teams to execute strategic projects, operationalize insights, and drive financial efficiency in customer support operations
- Problem Solving & Learning: Adapt to changing priorities, develop new technical skills, and apply creative solutions to improve financial processes
Basic Qualifications
- BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other relevant subject
- 4+ years of proven experience
- Experience with Excel/Google Sheets
- Prior financial and/or analytical experience including FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Outstanding analytical skills - standard methodologies are second-nature, your models are efficient, scalable, and intuitive
- Excellent communication and people skills - numbers are key, but a business is built with people
- Self-starter - you will take initiative, be dedicated, set and drive toward goals
- Ability to prioritize - we are consistently working on multiple projects at any given time, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working in an ambiguous environment and has the ability to optimally multitask
- Standout colleague - this is a highly collaborative and encouraging team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to execute in a fast paced environment
- Basic knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with enterprise-level financial planning systems, SQL, and/or statistical software package
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$124,000 per year - USD$137,500 per year.
