About the Role

The Sr. Associate, Internal Communications will support employee and executive communications for Uber's corporate functions. This person will work with teams to shape and tell the Finance, Legal, and People and Places (P&P) teams' stories to drive engagement and keep employees informed and inspired. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop and execute internal communications campaigns. The ideal candidate is someone who can operate as both strategic thought-partner and project manager who can work across the corporate functions to create, align, and implement global communications programs.

What You'll Do

  • Work with the Senior Manager, Internal Communications to oversee the execution of a strategic internal communications plan that aligns to P&P, Finance, and Legal's overarching strategy.
  • Develop close partnerships with program managers and subject matter experts to develop and execute internal communications campaigns targeted to Uber employees.
  • Build and organize internal communications systems and processes to keep P&P program managers aligned on communication priorities and work with them to craft a cohesive messaging strategy for their programs.
  • Distill complex topics into compelling messages, build and manage creative campaigns, and design crisp written content.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience supporting complex global communications programs in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment.
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to translate complex business issues into compelling and clear messages.
  • Experience supporting internal communications for people, finance, and/or legal programs with a knack for inspiring and engaging employees.
  • A strong team player with excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple strategic directions and projects with ease.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in PR/communications ideally in a technology company.
  • Communications experience at a publicly-traded company.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$124,000 per year - USD$137,500 per year.
